Illamasqua's theater of the nameless

Illamasqua have built up quite a fan base over the years and a reputation for creative theater make-up. My favorite make-up artist, Alex Box works with them and the below looks are her creation. SIGH! To be that good at cosmetics! I just wish someone could walk me through the products. I dream of working for Illamasqua.

Anyway, back to the product! This is Theater of the nameless. I was stalking their online sale when I came across this collection. All of the above products are from the range as well. The collection takes inspiration from 1920s Berlin and is filled with rich, dark colors. It was inspired by the burst of creativity during that time in art and cinema. This has an underground performance feel to it.
This is one area in which Illamasqua have MAC beaten - well one of the areas - is their lashes. Illamasqua have a great selection of everyday lashes, nighttime lashes and lashes with a bit of sparkle for those special occasions. Oh and the drag style lashes. A proper selection instead of just natural-ish ones. The most outrageous lashes that MAC do are the 44's which are still brown and just have a large tuft of lash at the edge of the eye. Which makes applying them a nightmare!
If you fancy getting in on the action - then you can pop over to the Illamasqua website and have a look at the collection. I am trying to find a matte black nail varnish they advertised this morning on facebook - which is why I was on the site. I also noticed that they have a sale on right now if your interested with a lot of items down to £5.
