As the world continues to turn, the sun sets on another day where Hailey Baldwin is engaged to Justin Bieber and is definitely not dating Shawn Mendes. Though, Hailey and Shawn did have us going for a second when they attended the Met Gala together in May. They did spark rumors of a salty "breakup" when Hailey deleted all photos of Shawn from her Instagram account, but Shawn just said he's totally cool with her engagement to the Biebs. Totally. Completely. 100 percent cool. He's breezy.

In an interview with Australian talk show called The Project, Shawn convincingly said, "I texted Hailey the day of, and I said congrats. That's what it is. I think everybody wants there to be more — there's not."
Oh, Shawn also said he loves Justin and Justin was a "massive influence" on him. Maybe Shawn will score an invite to the wedding? It'll be a long shot, but there's always hope!
