Ariana Grande Apologizes Again For Licking Donuts: Is Her Video Apology Enough?

Ariana Grande is apologizing yet again for the video that captured her sneaking a lick of donuts during a recent donut shop visit. Many felt that her initial apology didn't even address the gross incident, so she posted a new YouTube video titled "sorry babes."

In the video, Ariana explains: "I just want to make a video to apologize again for the whole donut fiasco and craziness because I feel like the apology that I posted, I kind of missed my opportunity to actually sincerely apologize and express how I was feeling because I was too busy preaching about my issues with the food industry, which is not relative. I feel I could have expressed myself in a different way."

She added, "I was trying to get you to understand where I was coming from when I said what I said, but that's not important - I'd rather just apologize...I feel like now's my chance...to say I'm sorry."

Ariana talked about being a proud American, before continuing, "Seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly that you had no idea was taken is such a rude awakening. I was so disgusted with myself. I shoved my face in a pillow and wanted to disappear, but instead of that I'm going to come forward, own up to what I did, take responsibility, and say I'm sorry."

She added, "I reacted in a way that I feel like wasn't necessary to say the least but also wasn't me at all. I apologize for my poor choice of words and for my behavior. Seeing how ugly it looks when you behave a certain way makes you never want to behave that way again."

Ari summed things up by saying, "I want to be a positive influence...I feel like I let you all down, which sucks." She adds that it's been a rough 24 hours for her, explaining, "I made a mistake and I'm being judged for it, which I understand because I watched it and I was just as disappointed in myself."
